Driving Directions to the Rice University Campus

Rice University is bordered by Main Street, Greenbriar Street, Rice Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, and University Boulevard.

Remember for ICNA-MAS Conference, one has to enter from Entrance # 20, which is along Rice Boulevard.

Coming To Rice University From North Or South Of Houston

Those approaching Houston from North or South coming on I-45 North or I-45 South should take the US 59 South Exit near Downtown Houston;

From US 59 South, take the Fannin Street Exit and make a left turn to go under the Freeway South along Fannin;

When you reach Sunset Boulevard, take a right on Sunset Blvd and continue till Sunset Blvd bears left to become Rice Boulevard;

Fourth entry on the left side to the University along Rice Boulevard is Entrance # 20;

Turn Left at Entrance # 20 and you will come onto Alumni Drive inside Rice University (you can park on your left or right hand side here and walk down or you can proceed with driving further along Alumni Drive): If you decide to proceed, after about Quarter of a Mile, you will reach a cross street called Laboratory / Loop Street: Here the building in front of you on the left side is Ley Student Center, where the ICNA-MAS Conference is happening, while building on your right hand side has the Central Ground Parking System.

Coming To Rice University From East Or West Of Houston

Those approaching Houston from East or West coming on I-10 East or I-10 West, should take I-610 South going in front of Galleria and then take US 59 North towards Downtown Houston;- Before Downtown Houston along US 59 North, take the Exit of Greenbriar;

Stay on the frontage road until Greenbriar and then turn right (South) on Greenbriar;

Follow Greenbriar to the Traffic Signal at Rice Boulevard;

Turn left onto Rice Boulevard;

Third entry on the right side to the University along Rice Boulevard is Entrance # 20;
